Unexpected Project: The Origins of the StoryTails Podcast

The year 2023 has been a whirlwind of excitement and growth for me. In September/October of the previous year, my partner Penny and I co-founded Omni Pet Club; by late December, we proudly launched our website. Since then, our mission has been to introduce our products to the world and advocate for the pet owner lifestyle that we hold dear.

As a devoted pet owner myself, I encountered a common struggle—finding quality products tailored to my little beasties in a market dominated by canine-centric offerings. This challenge fueled my passion to create Omni Pet Club with Penny. As we designed our products, we envisioned a world where both pets and their owners were at the forefront, fostering a stronger bond between them. The journey to our final product involved numerous collaborative sessions and iterations. We meticulously fine-tuned the design and tested multiple prototypes to ensure the comfort of both pet owners and their beloved dogs and cats. Now, Omni Pet Club faces its greatest challenge — capturing market attention and spreading the pet ownership lifestyle. Confronted with limited budgets and funding, we embraced an unconventional solution: Podcasting.

Harnessing the power of technology, we entered the world of podcasting with our creation, StoryTails. This platform not only serves as a means to promote our products but also as a resource hub for the pet community. Through StoryTails, we aspire to engage in meaningful conversations about the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership, as well as share insights from our entrepreneurial journey.
